The French love and therefore organize a lot of markets, the whole year through. In Aubeterre-sur-Dronne theres a sunday-market. Then there is the age-old Hotel de France. A real French café / restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. They have a kitchen that adapts to the seasons and the holidays. There is always something to do and music to listen to.

Hostellerie du Périgord by Rachel and Fabrice has been around for an eternity. Over the years it has been thoroughly modernized and expanded. Good wines, haute cuisine and the poeple are always friendly. www.hostellerie-perigord.com
There is also a restaurant at the campsite at the bottom of the village. The food is simple but fresh. Especially in the summer months it is always buzzing with poeple. After a refreshing dip in the river you can go grab a bite there. They have Mövenpick desserts.
In the village you can get ice cream in a couple different places. The ice cream at Jean-Yves’ from Glace Artisanales has something special. On the age-old wooden balcony you have a panoramic view which makes it a bit of a party. They have great coffee as well.
In a nearby village, St. Séverin, delicious real Italian cooking is served at La Trattoria. Always make a reservation.
